TACF's 2019 Spring Appeal
The native range of the American chestnut spans nearly 200 million acres of eastern forest. The four regions of the tree’s range are managed by TACF’s tenacious Regional Science Coordinators (RSC), Kendra Collins, Sara Fitzsimmons, Ben Jarrett, and Tom Saielli. These enthusiastic RSCs work tirelessly supporting the breeding programs of our 16 chapters, as well as educating the community about TACF’s mission toward restoration.
Your spring appeal gift enables our RSCs to continue supporting the research, education, and restoration activities within their four regions, cultivating external partners, new members, and volunteers. Your generosity also allows them to mentor talented interns who are critically needed during planting and harvest seasons. Thank you for your gift!
