West Virginia Chestnut Festival Honors the Great American Chestnut

The 11th Annual West Virginia Chestnut Festival took place Sunday, October 7 in Rowlesburg, drawing a good crowd and some media attention as well. The purpose of the festival is to raise awareness about the American chestnut and restoration efforts taking place to restore the tree.
