The MD-TACF Chapter Spring Meeting will be held on March 23 at the Izaak Walton League of America, 18301 Waring Station Road, Germantown MD 20874. Chapter member Bruce Levine will be the featured speaker and his topic will be, “What are we breeding for: how plant defenses work.” Bruce will also give an update on his recent research on small stem assays since this is the key component of the chapter’s spring activities. An update will be given about the 4,000 seeds planted at the Baltimore Agriculture Center in early February. Recent and future chapter activities will also be discussed. All are welcome!
