2018 Walk in Penn’s Woods

Mark your calendars for October 7, when Pennsylvanians across the state will walk to celebrate Penn’s Woods!

Rural, urban, and suburban woods, state and national forests and parks, municipal watersheds, conserved areas, private lands and industries in the state’s 67 counties will hold open houses and guided walks showcasing the multiple values and diverse uses of Pennsylvania’s priceless forest resources.

TACF members Mike and Kieu Manes will lead a special chestnut-themed walk as part of this event. Time and location to be determined — more details coming soon!
