Harvesting Burs at Blandy Experimental Farm

–Meet at the smaller orchard (the one nearest the Quarters building) at 9:30 or later.
400 Blandy Farm Ln, Boyce, VA 22620 (off U.S. 50 near U.S. 340)
If you are unsure where the orchard is, meet at the parking lot near the front of the Quarters. However, if you arrive later than 9:30 you can head straight to the orchard.
To get to the orchard…
Follow the first right turn (a gravel road), then the first left. See map at http://www.virginia.edu/blandy/brochures/visitor_map.pdf The Chestnut Test Plot in the upper left corner of the map is the larger orchard, where we’ll go after we finish the smaller one.
