Over the past 31 years, The American Chestnut Foundation® (TACF) has led the effort to restore the American chestnut, bringing this important issue to the forefront of current conservation initiatives. The 31st Annual Meeting will bring together scientists, conservationists, private landowners, and industry professionals to share information and perspectives about the American chestnut and inspire reintroduction of this species to our eastern forests. 

Request for Proposals: Deadline Extended to September 15th

Research Posters and Student Research Presentations for the 31st Annual Meeting are being sought that address topics relative to American chestnut restoration such as: breeding and biotechnology, pests and pathogens, forest genetics, silviculture and forest management, restoration and reintroduction, mine-land reclamation, forest and wildlife ecology, history, and timber use.
